In the opening post the characterisation of Mexicans is so ill informed and bigoted that it turns my stomach. I'm a construction foreman and supervise a large number of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans here in Florida and by and large these people aren't asking for anything more than a chance to make a living and you'd be hard pressed to find a more willing and able bunch of workers. Many of these guys are taking English classes at night and nearly all are eager to pick up as much English as they can.
Go out and meet some of these people, work with them, eat with them and trade language before you spread any more of this hate.
