Six out of 50 states, number 6 (plus, presumably, Puerto Rico, Guam and maybe a few other places). I think maybe Mr. Dobbs might have been exagerating just a little bit in the report you saw. And I have to say, I find myself at least somewhat in agreement with Auggie on this one. If we educate people and thereby help lift them up out of poverty and help them become productive, self-supporting citizens, that is to the benefit of all tax-payers in the long run.
