I agree with auggie too, of course in state tuition benefits the chldren of poor immigrants but it also would benefit the poor 'decendants of previous immigrants'. I find it hard to accept that only a select group such as illegal immigrants have priority over others. Living in the U.S as you do, you are fully aware of the high cost of post secondary education.
