I like that "playful mood" has quotes around it. As if it isn't really true. For a paper I'm supposedly writing I've been reading stuff about "language" in primates. The quotes means the person who write it doesn't believe they have language. So I assume your quotes means you don't actually beleive you're in a playful mood, just something that sort of looks like one.
