I did a quick survey of google ads in various threads, and some interesting things come up. Sometimes I think the google ads are another form of intelligence trying to communicate with us. The Shatner thread and the May 19th thread seems to have picked up on the birthday aspect and are advertising presents or cards.

Both Flamenco Ted can't count and Redlake shooting are advertising anti spywear and virus protection. Crazy liberal is advertising crazy frog. Interesting, the gypsy and tory thread is advertising family and relationship counseling. I wonder if that has some subtle meaning there. Dream interpreting advertises Hillary in 2008 shirts and stickers.

Mudders who watch their threads die has a public service announcement. Often it is the combination of two ads that is really funny. Goat is advertising cheese and hair dye. The March 19 thread advertises basketball and the war in Iraq. And everywhere there is espersso machines and restaurant reviews advertised.
