I need to put the record straight re smoking: I personally am for a no smoking ban. I know that there are a number of smokers who come regularly to the festival. I will be asking smokers to have one down stairs if at all possible; I am unable to impose a blanket ban at the FF. This point has already been discussed on the phone.
Th club room is poorly ventilated and has one window which opens (from the bottom and is usually secured at the top by a beer mat) to be seen to be believed lol
The pub is a smoker, I cannot IMPOSE a no smoking ban this point was raised at the FC on Monday, we at the FC continue to have a NO SMOKING policy. The FF attendees I would like to think will agree that this policy should be extended to the festival
The YM does have a no smoking policy (alarms in place) and smokers usually stand just outside to have a smoke.
Any comments are invited, but only from smokers as to a practical way around this problem!!
