Pass the "good luck" off as insensitive and unthinking. With no malice and plenty of aforethought, we'll put you in prayer for a complete healing. (I realize that offering to pray for someone can be looked upon as offensive in here, but please take it in the spirit it is offered.)

It's been pretty much proven that a positive attitude is beneficial to healing... glad you're taking it that way.

And I lift up thanks that here in the not always so good old U.S.A. we can get things like catscans in a couple of days. I have friends in Canada, so I know that month's wait is almost faster than the speed of sound.
