D'CatsNot wanting to "clutter" an "information thread" with what might be perceived as "trivia," I thought I'd better start a new thread... ;>
On the Lily of the West thread, someone mentioned a collection of folk songs by S. Baring-Gould. I *JUST* inherited (literally two weeks ago) an "annotated Mother Goose" by two Baring-Goulds. Who are these Baring-Goulds, and what other books should I be looking for by them? I love the Mother Goose. Did they do similar things with folk tunes?
All info appreciated!
