Sonnet 07/04/04                              CMIII

To know that muse will someday tell me all
That words might mean, and if they reach, to touch
Her soul: That is enough for me to fall
Into my dreams and all of passions clutch.
She gives me hope for future, and the chance
To find my dreams in life. I do not know
If ever my words on her lips might dance,
Or see in eyes any of passion's glow.
I dare not wake, from dream: Heart almost holds
Sweet muse, within. All that I want, to heal
Past sorrows, heart can see. What desire molds,
I find no flaw in: Yet, are desires real?
I cannot doubt my feelings, nor her smile:
She is the one that gives verse hope for style.
