http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5531738729
i guess the picture does not show up any more..
it shows how it looked in 1896--i am checking with the seller
to see if he has any images of it...and maybe the buyer to
see the same thing...the proprietor of the Hotel was Joseph
Parkinson. ooh this is an exciting sllice of history come alive!
get yourself a peregrine falcon to keep those pidgeons in check!
I have not found the hotel yet but here is the Courthouse, 1906.

I'll be willing to bet that the Page County Heritage Association
would have assistance for you or advice. They seem to be connected
to the genealogical society http://www.rootsweb.com/~vagspc/pcgs.htm
hey maybe you want to read this book...in your spare time...a teacher
from over in Louisa wrote it..
Louisa County High School English teacher Ed Buhrer will be signing copies of his newest novel, Blue Ridge High, at the high school on January 22 from 10:00am to 1:00pm . This novel is a sequel to his first book Luray, published in 2003. Books will be available for purchase at the event, with money raised to be donated to the school's National Honor Society. The novels are also available for purchase at www.publishamerica.com.

best of luck in your endeavor!
