Sonnet 13/04/04                            CMV

What can I tell muse that would show my mind
And longing for the dreams she offers heart?
How can I with fears of upsetting part,
And hopes for smile within heart and soul bind?
Is there a path to my desires, to find
All I might want to be within my reach?
Can I find words to say, to feelings teach,
Or visions of her light, when soul is blind?
Yet, I find just the thought of her is source
For hope, and dreams, and vision: Might I send
A tithe of my emotions? Dare I give
An echo of the song dreams of smile lend?
I cannot help but hope that hopes might live,
And I might forget all of past remorse.
