Okay, I just did a little tweaking of the conjuctions in the lyrics. Yes, I know it's probably minor, but the writer in me is a stickler for clarity (even when I don't always get it right).
The lines in question now say: ". . . some times, we're sad / but it's easy to smile when . . ." (there was no conjunction there at all before -- also replaced the rest with a note [F], to make it fit)
I also changed: "but those are the very best reasons of all." to "and those are the very best reasons of all."
Also, on a tangential subject, I find I go through "phases" whenever I doodle with tunes. Right now, I am deeply enamored with the key of F major... right now, other keys just sound "wrong." I've also gone through periods when all my hums were in B flat major, or some other key.
Does that happen to any of you guys, too? or am I just a freaky-deak?
