I've got three inches of water in my basement, which has never happened before. The cat was meowing like crazy this morning when I got up and food wouldn't shut her up. I realized when I went downstairs to put my clothes in the dryer that the problem was that she couldn't reach her litter box. I brought it upstairs and, hopefully, she's satisfied now. I haven't left for work yet, and I'm dreading what I'm going to see. Last years flood left our campground under 9 feet of water, and the maintenance crew hasn't gotten it cleaned up for the new camping season yet. If it happens again, we probably won't have camping this year. (From my point of view, that's not a completely bad thing. I could use a break from city people who no nothing about camping or nature). Last years flood uprooted a lot of really old trees, and left a lot of trash from up river hanging in the branches of the trees that made it through. I was especially amused at the hot tub we found. Fortunately, no one was in it.

Hopefully, there won't be too much damage to the homes along the river.
