The Chattahoochee River that runs between Columbus Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama has been just below flood stage for days. The riverwalks are all flooded, and some roads have experienced flooding, but as far as I know both cities (towns) are safe. For several days, I woke up in the morning to find that our whole yard had turned into a lake. Same with the lot next to us. If it had frozen, it would have made a great ice skating rink.
