I wish they would have told me I'd get addicted to the Mudcat and have to self-impose time restrictions.

I wish they would have told me I'd be worried about posting too much, joking too much and hurting other people's feelings too much.

I wish they would have told me I'd be checking new threads like waiting for the mailman.

I wish they would have told me I'd be popping into threads just to see who's around. Kind of like at a party, checking rooms to see who's there.

I wish they would have told me I could have been doing this a few years ago.

And one more thing...........
I wish they would have told me years ago I could have been a musician.
