More fiddling - this time in South East Wales! I've had this in today from one of the organizers, Fran:

Hi!
This is going to be a great weekend - planned so far are 3 sessions open to all musicians on Friday 13th May, Sat. 14th (evening, venues tbc) and Sunday 3pm in the Queen's Inn, Upper Cwmbran.

Fiddle workshops will be held in Thornhil Community Centre, Thornhill, Cwmbran on Saturday all day and Sunday morning. These can be attended by players of other instruments at a reduced price - many things that come up in these workshops are relevant to all players. Tom McConville is an excellent fiddle player and has been teaching and playing for many years. Tom is also a teacher of Alexander technique. Bragod will be playing too in the Saturday evening concert, also more tbc.
The concert is early evening, 7-9pm, followed by a session nearby.

Reduced workshop fees for anyone who doesn't play fiddle but wants to attend workshops.
Free concert for volunteers.
Players are expected to already be able to play a tune or two (ie, no beginners class).

Concert: £6 / £4 concessions /children £1
Workshops: Saturday all day - £23 / £17 concessions / children £4.50 - includes free entry to concert
Sunday half day - £9 / £6 concessions / children £3
Saturday & Sunday - £30 / £21 concessions / children £6.50
