Hi, I got the lyrics off your web site. I was so excited to find them. When I was a kid my family used to beg our father to sing this to us. He passed away 10 years ago and I can't seem to forget this song. I am hoping to find a recording of it so I can play it for my family at Christmas. Apparently it was done at one point by Burl Ives so I'm going to start looking into that. If you have any more info on where I can find a recording I would really appreciate it.
A few years ago I found some lyrics in a box that belonged to my father. I'll try to dig it out and let you know if they lyrics are the same or not.
