Another new year coming up: Tuesday night, December 7 at sunset begins the first lunar month of the lunar year 2000 by the Gregorian Easter cycle, beginning the lunar calendar millenium of the 2000s (not to be confused with the 3rd millenium AD which doesn't start for another year) and the lunar calendar century of the 2000s (not to be confused with the 21st century AD which doesn't start for another year.)
