Forwarding to here the contents of an announcement by some friends of mine. These two are talented, and worthy of support if any 'catters in the Boston(Mass) area should feel inclined. The least you would get from it is some good music.

Bedlam will be competing in the finals of the "Folk Off" acoustic music competition. This is a reminder that the finals are this Thursday night, Dec. 9, at the Cantab Lounge, downstairs at the "3rd Rail." That's at 738 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge.

Audience response is an even bigger part of the judging than before. So please, help us out by attending and cheering loudly. And now the bad news: there is a cover charge, $8. To make up for it, in part, Bedlam will be offering coupons to all who attend, for $8 off our next CD (to be released in January). We hope you can make it!

And another reminder: Sunday, Dec. 19, we'll be performing at the Kendall Cafe, 233 Cardinal Medeiros Blvd., Cambridge. from 9 to 11 pm. It's a cozy little pub and restaurant with good sound and good atmosphere. Bring your friends and enjoy.
