Two English professors were arguing over whether Shakespeare or Bacon had written the plays. Finally the Shakesperean spotted a bowlegged man, and said, "Look, if Bacon had seen that guy he'd have said, 'here comes a bowlegged man.' But if Shakespeare had seen him, he would have said, ' Lo! what manner of man is this? who carries his balls in parentheses!'"
