The idea of ''harvesting stiffs'' may be macabre, but graveyard humor goes back at least as far as Lazarus. Shakespeare has dying Mercutio cracking wise (''Ask for me tomorrow and you will find me a grave man.'') and Hamlet holding poor Yorick's skull as though it were a cantaloupe. So what's wrong with a decedents derby? --Boston Globe
