I use my TV, but primarily for things of true interest to me that I have to use other machines to inject into the TV with. You can never completely escape being programmed in this day and age, so one of the only true freedoms, sad to say is to program yourself. Sometimes you've got to use media against itself, but unless you're a hermit with a secure job hermetically sealing envelopes or something and don't have to bother with the world, you've got to use it sometime.
