Having the full Adobe Acrobat program, and having worked a few books, I WOULD NOT PRESUME to send a book printer a "corrected" .pdf.

Okay if you're going to run it down to the Quick-Print and "xerox" it, but you don't maintain good working relationships with your key service providers by causing them problems gratuitously.

Of course, maybe the people I've worked with are a little more fussy than some. Some of them are so out-of-date that they still use Macs.
