So it was new amendments that did the trick. So this legislation that Amos posted in the beginning of this thread... is it a law, or a proposed constitutional amendment? If it's a law, how can it be immune to judcial oversight? It would seem that if it's just a law, it can be tested in the courts and the Supreme Court can find it unconstitutional. Sounds a bit circular to me.
