Mrs Annie, it depends what you like doing. If you like fringe-type sessions, there are music sessions going on most of the time in the New Tavern and The Radway, unaccompanied singing in the Anchor and sessions in the Bedford. There are various concerts. Can't recommend them yet as they are mostly new venues, so you will have to go and see what they are like! There are a number of dance venues and other singarounds. Personally, I highly recommend the Anchor Middle Bar, sea songs in the Middle Bar on Tuesday (I think), Silly songs in the Middle Bar on Thursday lunch time, singing in the sea on Thursday afternoon, and the ceilidh which won't be happening in the ford on Friday and in which lots of people won't be dancing and enjoying themselves (you'll have to find out about that when you come too!)

As far as camping goes, there is a festival camp site at Bulverton (the same place as usual) with showers, loos and food. If you go to the Sidmouth Festival web site it should give you info on that.

Oh...and I run a fringe event, "Ashby de la Zouch Folk Club" in the Volunteer on the first Friday evening, so drop in there and let us know who you are....perhaps we can turn it into a Mud gather??

Love Lynne
