Hi Patrick and Kate. Yes, I'd say a fire sing there would be a definite starter. I don't think there are any enclosed spaces with acoustics like the stairwell - oh well, can't have everything.

Maybe we could have a session under the giant tarp on another night, too. That worked very well a couple of years ago. That's one of the reasons we camp in the riverside camping area, never behind the Barn - that one is apparently supposed to be the quiet camping area. I'm an owl, not a fowl - as you well know!! Last year we were trying to have a sing there with Ricarda and Nick and some others because that's where they were camped - quite early in the evening as I remember - and were told to take it somewhere else. I guess some people go to festivals to sleep - can't imagine why though :-)

Actually, I must give Simon a ring. He doesn't go very far these days cos of his back, but Snalbans is quite close to him, and he usually makes it to this one.
