Tax everyone a flat rate for all income over, say, $10,000. EVERYONE. The Catholic Church. The LDS Church. General Motors. Me. You. No deductions, no exemptions -- whatever you make over the minimum you pay a percentage to the gummint. Say the rate is set at 10% -- you make $12,000, you pay 10% of $2,000 or $200. You make $100,000 you pay 10% of $90,000, or $9,000. A TV church takes in $10,000,000 in collections, it pays 10% on $9,990,000. No quarterly taxes, no "anticipated income" taxes -- you make it, you pay it. And you should be allowed to pay it in cash at any federally insured bank or financial institution.
