Small session and it got off to a late start, but it was a really really GOOD session. Had time to discuss the songs, their origins, collectors, who recorded them, etcet etcet in between actualy singing them.

Tom and I, of course, Scott Bogle (whom we hope will soon be an official Mudcatter), Steve Carrigan, Fran O'Donnell (to whom we've also been extolling the joys of Mudcat) and Barbara Benn.

AND we had a very enthusiastic response from two groups of listeners who had each wandered into the Press Room (in one case, I think, for the first time) to have lunch and found a bunch of people singing around a table in the back. We not only didn't scare them off, they enjoyed it immensely. Both came over to tell us and find out more. One group left reluctantly, but said they'd be back again. The other group stayed til the session ended.

Really helped put me in a better state of mind than I've been in lately.
