Speaking of Tam Lin -- quite a few years ago I happened across a black&white movie (on TV) from the '60s with Ava Gardner. Came across it about athird of the way through. I gradually recognized the story that was being told as Tam Lin (Hally had learned a 15-20 min. version and I had been around during that process)and Ava was the Queen of the Faeries. I say gradually: the story seemed to be set in "modern" times (the '60s) in "modern" dress, with "modern" characters; but it was absolutely clear by the final fourth of the picture what was being told. First jog to my mind was background music, as I recall. I wish I could remember the name of the show.
