Thank you, Wesley S.! I was just now trying to write a post to say what you said in your last three sentences. But mine kept coming out all wrong. I have the deepest respect for all war veterans. As I mentioned in the Dec. 7 thread, my parents were both at Pearl. But for reasons I really don't altogether understand, Vietnam vets will always have a very special place in my heart.
