I guess I have to say that this is not a song I'd include in my repertoire, and many of the words are not in my usual vocabulary.

However, bawdy songs have always been part of folk music, and this is a folk music discussion forum. The title and lyrics may be offensive to some, but to remove or euphemize them would be far more offensive to those who wish to engage in the free study of folk music. Euphemized thread titles like Slavery-Era Song, 'Run, ======, Run' are extremely offensive to some of us.

Many of the early song collectors omitted or changed song lyrics they considered offensive. As a result, the original forms of many traditional songs have been lost forever. Now, THAT is offensive.
