Here's a bit of what I wrote:

I think of a Viking funeral
The dead in his own long ship
They set it a fire then set it adrift
With a dog at the warriors feet.
That's how I'd go if I had my way,
To sail to the great beyond,
But, that can never be, because you see,
There are laws in this hide bound nation
They would never allow such a funeral now
It would be a hazard to navigation.
