The lovely singing cat is no doubt Kat Eggleston, half of the Ferryboat Musicians, and I do believe the other half was Steve but I can't recall his last name. And they did busk on the Washington State Ferries in the 80's. Don't believe they are still together; in fact, I think Kat wrote a song about that. Kat is a wonderful songwriter, guitarist and singer, whose songs have been played on the WKSU folk music website. If I get a chance I'll post the link; it came from an old thread about folk music on the Web. This all reminds me of how great the Western Washington folk scene was, from Bellingham down to Olympia. Sigh...
