Make sure you can get the name registered everywhere you need it (in the UK - Companies House; .co.uk / .com URLs etc). You often find you can get the company name but not the URL or vice versa.

There are a lot of company names out there and it is getting more and more difficult to get words which have not been registered already - we wanted a single word name for our record label and ended up inventing one ("Acoustyistics Ltd").
