Doom and gloom has not been the founding principle in establishing this country.

It took over 200 years to get to this point. It may take as many years to retreat from the new dictatorship but there should be plenty of good intentioned compassionate people to re establish democracy with free speech, fair elections and original constitutional guarantees.

I am still waiting and looking for a clear beginning to the process.
