Sonnet 30/09/04                           CMXXXIV

Might moon shine upon muse, to light her dream
And tell her she is loved? How can I show
My feelings of concern? Words do not seem
Enough to give, when I would her heart know.
Shall stars in her eyes sparkle, and give life
To dreams and deep desires? What will I find
Within night wind, to tell how to ease strife
Twixt hope and expectation, heart and mind?
Can reason seek out path to in arms hold
What passions have found to my dreams inspire?
How will I know if my hopes are too bold,
Or when longing exceeds proper desire?
The thought of her fills all of dreams, and heart,
But can I of desires win even part?
