Where to start, i'm still recovering. There were so many highlights, all of the performers were first class, playing to capacity houses at all venues. It was great seeing all of the old Bothy goers, a lot of them coming for the week or part of the week from all over the U.K. inc Jim James coming from all the way from the States.
The party night on Sat was special but the club night on Sun reminded me of what it is all about. The packed audience singing as one with 'Stormalong John', all the old shanties that Tony Wilson used to sing. I'm sure Tony was up there watching with a pint of Cains mild in hand and drowning the rest of us out singing 'The Drunken Sailor'.
