Sonnet 15/10/04                           CMXL

My muse need only call, and I would run
To hold her in my arms, and guard her sleep.
The hopes and dreams thought of her has begun
Are reason enough to her comfort keep.
I wish that I might reasons know, why she
Such passions form in dream: She brings a fire
To burn sorrows away, and lets me see
Enough of hope to all of heart inspire.
She is more than just muse, but can words tell
Just why I feel this way? How can I know
What she thinks of my dreams, when, under spell,
I see in silence more than what words show?
I would forever wait, for muse to find
The time and reason to share heart, and mind.
