It was really nice that Elizabeth sang her second song with her mom. (and did you notice, the audience totally loved it?) There was so much cheering and applause after both songs that I was sitting there with tears in my eyes. Bill and I were both just beaming, so impressed by how poised Elizabeth was and how beautifully she sang. Well she always does, but to carry it off perfectly on Prairie Home Companion! Wow.
