I grew up with Maggie Thatcher as the Prime Minister, but I also remember the 'Winter of Discontent', 3 day working weeks, enforced power cuts for several hours a day and the first vote of no confidence for 50 years with Sunny Jim Callaghan, a Labour minister who was Prime Minister after Wilson resigned.
