Good heavens, Mary G. Why would one eat a macaroon if the miracle ingredient is coconut?

Reminds me of a fad diet I once saw. Quite stringent rules but every fourth day or something you could eat a hot dog! Why would I waste my meat/fat allowance on a hot dog?
