Mary, that is a scarey and upsetting story. I wrote out a check for 808.95 today to reinstate my son on my insurance since they drop him every semester and demand that I sign a notarized form testifying to the fact that I support him. In a few months I won't be able to keep him on my insurance and we will have to do something else. But there might be some local HMO's that Bobert could buy into besides Anthem.
There just isn't any good health insurance programs at this point.

    I'm sure our little psychopath Lepus Rex, oh I mean Marvin Gibbon doesn't have any insurance where he works as a teacher's aid. But he thinks he knows what corporate america is doing for insurance and he is just plain wrong. Corporations are cancelling insurance coverage all the time and no one pays less than 200 a month for family coverage. Most pay much more.   

We desperately need an approach like Canada's.
