Violence is never OK, and yes Guest, I have been on the receiving end from a drunken man... but from what I see in the thread, Damien apologised, he knows he has a problem and is trying to address it and he didn't need to be arrested or charged in order to state that publicly. That should have been the end of it. If the person who was hurt wants to pursue it, they should do so via the police station and not here.
