You can jazz on them too. I've happy memories of playing one, along with someone playing a quiet electric guitar, accompanying a female jazz singer over in East Yorkshire. Wasn't even mine - belonged to the guitarist! Tuned GDAE, which suited me. Also used whistle on some numbers - again not a jazz instrument usually. Never heard any of the songs before, but who cares in jazz?
