Mine's Lab. Nick Ainger who never votes against his bosses and who has been rewarded with a post in the Wales Office. He used to be a good guy and very pro-community arts. How the mighty have fallen. The others who I know personally are not Labour. However, if ever there was a Labour rebel, it's Paul Flynn, Newport West. He might be worth a 'go'. Our other hope, in Wales, is in getting powers devolved to the Assembly. I'd find it hard to believe that Welsh AMs would dare to have tried restricting communal music-making like that. They'd have been ridden out of town on a rail. (Actually, an old Welsh custom. Maybe that's where the cowboys got it.) I know that people in the Culture Ministry at the Assembly were mightily displeased at the lack of consultation on this one, as Culture IS a devolved issue, as are certain aspects of Local Government ...
