Hello all ,I remember the first time I started to work up 'The famous flower of serving men" I realized the magnitude of his work.. I wonder if he was a drummer in an earlier life... what an amazing sence of rythum ...I think when you get to a sertain level of greatness there is no need to worry about what the world would have been without them because they fill the space they are in with so much goodness that none of us can do without them wheather we know it or not..Martin Carthy has chaned the world of music by being in it.. Thoughs who have heard him play diferently because of it and so on and so on..I still say I want to hear Martin Carthy and Ry Cooder in the same room..How can we make that happen???
