As for closing threads that have gone south, by all means do it. It redirects the anger to you clones and the combatants will forget all about buying a plane ticket and AK-47 and terminating their "adversaries."

The outcome of imposing closure on one thread - resulted in at least 4 more being created. All this needless fuss only meant that far more posters were alerted to a subject that many probably would not have even bothered to open had the original thread remained open.
