I forgot to mention the wealth of local talent appearing at the festival, such as Mark Dowding (see posts about the Manchester Ballads cd, which is going to be wonderful) and the dialect singer Sid Calderbank, who are going to be doing a set called the Lancashire Cotton Panic. There's also going to be Harvey Davidson, Scolds Bridle, Derek Gifford, Les Barker.....
