Damn tradition and any pretense of politeness and non-partisanship...or "compassion"! "They" held up scads of Clinton's judicial nominees, and now they squabble over the three or four most extreme of the activist right wingnut kooks out of the hundreds of others who have been approved.

BTW how is it that out of thousands (or millions?) of perfectly normal, intelligent, capable people of color, gender, and other ethnicity who are most capable of ruling wisely with insight do they manage to find the three or four who least exemplify humanity and goodness and nominate only them? Just because someone is female, latino, black, etc does not make them poster children for catcalls of discrimination when they are roundly rejected for beeing the kooks that they are.
