One piece of advice though...
If you are flying to the wedding, do not wear the kilt on the plane. I know it takes up alot of room and weight in baggage, but put up with that. Airport security just love making a fuss over men in kilts. If there's a group of you, then it's fine as they realise it will take hours to do the same to everyone, but on your own, it's not so fun.
